Jag Run privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
Jag Run: The Jewish Holiday Dash is a game made as a personal project. It is meant for kids and grown-ups, so it does not ask for personal data: no name, no email, no age, no location, no photos, no contacts. It has no chat and no way for players to write to each other.
What is stored on your device
Your browser (or the app) keeps your best distance, your coins, what you bought in the shop, the day's missions, your settings (music, effects, vibration, language) and usage statistics for this device, such as how many runs you played. They don't leave your device, except for what is explained in the next section.
What is stored on the server
For the leaderboard to exist and so progress isn't lost, the server stores:
- A random identifier, which has nothing to do with you or with your device.
- A fingerprint (hash) of the device key and of the recovery code. The code itself is not stored: with the hash we can only check whether a code is correct.
- If you save your progress with your device's fingerprint, face or PIN (a passkey), only the public part of that key. Your fingerprint, face and PIN never leave your device: they are handled by its password manager (Google, Apple or Windows).
- Your nickname: a figure from Jewish history chosen from a fixed list and a number given by the game (for example, “Moshe 07”), so it can't contain a real name.
- Game data: scores, meters run, coins, purchases, completed missions and the date of each run.
- Anonymous totals of some moments in the game, added up across all players per day: for example, how many runs started, how long visits last, in which holiday runs ended or how many times a gift was used. They help improve the game and don't say who did what.
The server runs on Cloudflare. Like any internet service, Cloudflare may log the IP address of connections for a while, for security. The game does not store IP addresses.
What others see
On the leaderboard everyone sees your nickname, your score and your position. Nothing else.
Cookies, advertising and tracking
The game does not use tracking cookies. It has no ads: the rewards that other games give for watching an ad (x2 coins, reviving) are free gifts here. If ads are ever added, they will only be ones the player chooses to watch, suitable for kids and not personalized, and this policy will be updated first, explaining what data the ad network uses.
To know how many people visit the game we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits anonymously and without cookies: which page was opened, from which country, on what kind of device and where the visitor came from (for example, a WhatsApp link). It does not identify anyone or follow anyone across sites.
Kids, parents and teachers
Jag Run is made for kids, which is why it doesn't ask for or keep personal data and doesn't show advertising. The random identifier is only used to save progress and build the leaderboard: it is never used for advertising or to track anyone, and it isn't shared with anyone. If you are a parent, guardian or teacher and want to know what is stored or have it deleted, write to us with the child's recovery code (it's in Settings).
How to delete your data
- On your device: clear the site's data in your browser settings, or uninstall the app.
- In the game: in Settings, “Delete my data” deletes everything at once, on the device and on the server.
- By email: write to the contact below with your recovery code (it's in Settings) and we will delete everything linked to it.
